New York City is very hard to navigate by car and parking can be expensive so we do not recommend bringing or renting a car. Yellow cabs/taxis are conveniently available with reasonable rates to all areas of New York City.

If you are traveling from a different airport or staying in a different part of the city Hop Stop is a great resource for Driving, Walking and Public Transit Directions.

The Official NYC Information Center in Harlem is located inside of the Studio Museum of Harlem at 144 W. 125th St. (between Adam Clayton Powell Jr. and Malcolm X Blvds.) and it's open from noon - 6 p.m. daily (10 a.m. on weekends, closed holidays). 212-222-1014
